Tea Room Supervisor
£9 per hour plus pension + 38 days holiday
30 hours per week
(Tues – Sat 9:30am – 4pm)
Aberdeen’s only Visit Scotland 5-Star tourist attraction, the multi-award winning Gordon Highlanders Museum leads the way in Regimental Museums.
We are now seeking an enthusiastic team worker to join the team as our Tea Room Supervisor to cover maternity leave from late April/early May. The successful applicant will be responsible for all day to day requirements inc. catering and supervisory, in the Museum’s Duchess Jean Tea Room.
A diverse job role, the Tea Room Supervisor will be responsible for the preparation of food and drink, coordinate, supervise and support the volunteer teams, ensure compliance with statutory regulations regarding Health & Safety and ensure delivery of exceptional customer service at all times.
You will be a team worker with an approachable and friendly disposition and have the ability to work in a busy, ever changing environment. You will be able to deliver high quality customer care and enthuse and support teams of volunteers using your excellent organisational and time management skills. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as well as an ability to self-motivate and take the initiative.
